Network Engineer – Wireless Permanent

Role Overview:

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, management, and support of LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure. Your technical expertise will extend to wireless technologies, vendor evaluations, operational support, and network troubleshooting. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will be an integral part of the organization’s success in delivering cutting-edge network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies, configurations, and deployment plans for LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure.
• Participate in the assessment of hardware, software, and wireless communication products from various vendors.
• Provide operational support and troubleshoot production wireless network issues, ensuring the smooth operation of customer network infrastructure.
•  Assist in pre-sales wireless network engineering activities to drive business growth.
• Utilize your understanding of LAN/WAN technologies to support, design, and integrate complex wireless LANs.
• Lead technical support case escalation for customer wireless infrastructure and document advanced enterprise wireless solutions and designs.
• Conduct wireless design and validation, including RF site surveys for both indoor and outdoor deployments.
• Maintain professional-level certifications related to wireless network technologies and vendors.
• Participate in technology and vendor-specific training classes to stay updated with industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in WLAN integration and LAN support, with expertise in Enterprise Networking.
• Extensive experience with Cisco and Meraki products, and experience with Arista.
• Proficiency with Cisco Prime is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop solutions and provide technical leadership on projects.
